In addition, Damen Oskarshamnsvarvet serves the non-maritime construction market with its ability to construct a wide variety of heavy steel objects and large structures. Construction takes place under ISO 1090-1 and ISO 3834-2.
In combination with its large blasting and painting facilities, Damen Oskarshamnsvarvet can deliver the final product within ISO 12944-2 standards, for further transportation by road or sea.

The 315 metres of open quayside with 8 metres of draught can take vessels of almost any size, and the extensive terrain has all the space required for storing cargo and equipment ready for embarkation.

Floating dock
Measuring 80 metres by 15.5 metres, the floating dock can take vessels up to 1,500 tonnes. This is a practical facility for surveys and the inspection and maintenance of hulls, rudders, propellers and other features below the waterline for vessels of all types.

Slipway and ship transporter
The slipway is served by a 100 tonne gantry crane to lift smaller vessels out of the water. Oskarshamnsvarvet also has a 350 tonne flat rack ship transport system that can transport vessels between the dock and the main production hall.

Main Production Hall
Measuring 45 metres by 32 metres and with nearly 1,500 m² of floor space, the Production Hall is the main internal facility, suitable for large and heavy construction and maintenance projects. With 20 metres of clearance it is used for all types of refit and assembly work as well as for grinding, welding, steel works and all other activities. The work floor is spanned by two 40 and two 10 tonne cranes.

Small Welding Workshop
This 320 m² workshop has two 8 tonne overhead cranes with 6 metres of clearance and easy access via a door measuring 8 by 6 metres.

Blasting Hall
Measuring 15 x 13 metres, this hall is dedicated to blasting objects and components in preparation of welding or for a new coating. With a door measuring 7 x 6 metres it can accept large structures and objects.

Painting Hall
Measuring 26 by 9 metres and 5 metres high, this impressive facility is air-conditioned and climate controlled, thereby providing excellent conditions for the application of high quality industrial coatings. Its sophisticated ventilation / filtration system ensures a first class finish, under all ISO requirements for paint applications.
