Norwegian Defence & Security

As early as the 13th century, when the very concept of Norway's nationhood was still in its infancy, every able-bodied Norwegian man was nevertheless prepared as well as obliged to defend his land and his family.

This publication pays tribute to the Norwegian military's colourful history, focusing on its achievements in the 21st century, as the broad strategic involvement of Norway's Armed Forces with R&D and manufacturing companies continues to generate annual investments of  about NOK 7-8 billion in new military equipment.

Norwegian Defence & Security is divided into two sections: editorial, on the history and technology of the sector; and commercial, presenting many of the most important companies that have made it all possible.

Norwegian Defence & Security is published in conventional and electronic form. As a beautifully produced hardback book, copies are distributed free of charge throughout the world, and are available at a number of important trade fairs and conferences. Additional copies are available on request from Horn Publishing, which also publishes similar books on a range of business sectors and industries in a growing number of countries. When ordering additional copies of the books please explain why you want them and what you plan to do with them.

We sincerely hope you will find the editorial section interesting and useful. But even more important: we hope you will take note of the wealth of information on companies offering products and services that may be relevant to your needs. These are grouped into categories to help you find the most relevant companies as easily as possible.

Please contact us at mail@hornonline.com for further information or if you are interested in presenting your company in the next edition.
