- Pallas ships run their engines on low sulfur fuel to minimize emissions of CO2 and NOX.
- MT Pallas uses 50% less fuel than a similar ship built in the 80s.

- Pallas ships switches to terrestrial electricity whenever possible when the ship is at berth for loading / unloading. This is to minimize fuel emissions, and have low noise level due to the generators is then turned off.
