Take a trip downtown and you’ll find one of Oslo’s oldest restaurants. People have walked these floors since the early 1700’s. Stortorvets Gjæstgiveri is a Norwegian Cultural Heritage Site.
In our restaurant you can eat, drink and enjoy yourself in beautiful, historical surroundings. In our dining room, with old murals depicting Christiania (Oslo’s former name), you can enjoy an excellent lunch or dinner. Our a la carte menu is built from traditional Norwegian ingredients and served with a modern twist. In our upstairs restaurant and meeting rooms we serve 3-course menus for groups, in what used to be the living quarters for the former owners of this old mansion.
