Stockholm Repairyard, located on Beckholmen in central Stockholm, is an important service provider in the transport system. The shipyard offers maintenance, repairs, modifications and conversions of vessels. It also functions as an emergency group in the event of larger accidents involving vessels. The strategic location enables accessible service of ships operating in both Stockholm and Mälaren region as well as along the Swedish east coast.

Annually, Stockholm Repairyard repair and maintain about one hundred coastal vessels, for example cargo, tankers, tugboats, barges, archipelago boats, service vessels and passenger ships. The shipyard also repair vessels for the state departments, such as the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket), the Swedish Coast Guard (Kustbevakningen), the Swedish Maritime Administration (Sjöfartsverket) and the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmakten). The works are carried out in the dry docks, on the quays by the shipyard and in ports along the Baltic Sea coast.
